( THIS IS THE NIGHT WHEN EVERY HEART'S EXPLODING! )

Natalie sighed as she stared up at the sunny sky. Summer was such a peaceful time. The sun, though out, was hidden behind a couple of clouds, hidden from view. The light, radiated down, but was not blinding. In essence, it was perfect. A perfect day in Websters Corner, Georgia. A smell came to her nostrils, and she sat up before sneezing. She sniffled, then looked around. Wondering what had caused her to sneeze. She shrugged, finding nothing, but grass and sunflowers. She'd been around those before, and it never happened in the past. Maybe she was just coming down with a cold. She raised her hand to her forehead to see if she had a fever. She felt rather normal, so it couldn't be that.
Natalie pushed herself up, so she could walk to the creek, maybe get a drink of water. Natalie didn't have any fears really, well she had some, but they were rather minimal. She didn't fear germs, and she was perfectly willing to drink from a creek that had fish in it. She cupped some of the water in her hands and brought to her mouth. The cool liquid slipped into her mouth, and she swallowed it, keeping her hand near her mouth to catch any that fell. She stood up again, and looked around.
Maybe now would be a good time to head home. Then again, did her dad really care if she returned or not? She didn't think so. He was so reclusive now, that she doubted he realized that his daughter was alive. But, she did enjoy being alone, so she didn't mind so much. Still though, it would be nice to have a father that cared if you got a skinned knee, or fell and hit your head. Or got hurt by a guy. Then again, Natalie didn't pay much mind to any guy, so that was kinda irrelevant, now wasn't it? She sighed, and decided to just sit back down. Well, lay down. She stared at the sky again, the sun was coming out from behind the clouds casting a dark shadow over the world. Darkness... it fit.
